Recommended Items to Bring:
Comfortable clothing that does not violate any rules (see below for appropriate attire) for approximately 7 to 14 days. Washing machines and dryers are available at all houses and facility provides detergent.
Bathing suit(s) are recommended (beach/pool activities are common). Sunscreen and towels will be provided at the houses.
Toiletries: Although the houses do contain basic needs (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving razor) it is recommended you bring your own toiletries as long as it does not violate the rules of prohibited items.
Drop offs must happen at the treatment center during business hours. Money, clothes, tobacco, and hygiene products are only items allowed for drop off. Drop off times on Monday-Friday are 9AM-4PM. On Saturday and Sunday you can drop off during family visitation.
Identification: Please bring at least 1 primary form of identification
E.g.: Driver’s License, Identification Card, or Passport preferred.
Insurance & Prescription Information:
Please bring your insurance card and prescription card (if necessary)
Prescribed Medication(s) – Please bring all of your prescribed medications in their original bottle
Bringing dental/vision card is also recommended.
The Shores will require a debit or credit card be placed on file for any client to pay prescription copays and any other miscellaneous/incidental costs.
What You Cannot Bring:
No products with any alcohol or other drugs. (e.g. hand sanitizers with alcohol, mouthwash with alcohol)
Use of alcohol, narcotics, or non-approved prescriptions is grounds for immediate discharge from the program.
Possession of weapons is strictly forbidden.
No tank tops, halter-tops, backless or low-cut clothing. No short shorts, or other tight clothing is permitted during group or individual sessions. Logos on clothing that are gang or drug/alcohol/sexually related are not permitted
Other Items:
Electronics:
The use of all electronics (e.g. cell phone, tablet, IPod, and/or computer) is not permitted at a detox, residential, and partial hospitalization level of care. All electronics brought will be held in safe keeping until intensive outpatient level of care and may only be used if client’s primary therapist authorizes the use of said electronic.
The Shores provides clients ability to “sign out” mp4 players for listening to relaxation, meditation, and de-escalation music as needed.
Valuables:
It is not recommended to bring valuables (e.g. jewelry) however there are safe(s) located in the residences and the facility that will store these items during treatment hours.
Cash/Integrity Care Card – Cash Pass Account:
During Detox, Residential, and Partial-Hospitalization levels of care, all cash/debit/credit cards/checks will be confiscated and held. However you and/or your family member will have the ability to set up a cash pass account. This account will provide your loved one with a structured debit card. Money can be put into this account for additional food and other products (toiletries, tobacco, etc.). Please visit this page for more information.
